‘A Tapestry for Spring’ brings together a collection of recent works developed over the unfolding of the season.

Rooted in a practice that began as a way to reconnect with nature, Ella’s work draws on landscapes, flowers, and fleeting moments of light. Working in oil pastels and acrylic, she captures these impressions through vivid colour, expressive mark-making, and a distinctly architectural sense of composition - balancing shape, pattern, scale, and rhythm across each piece.

This body of work reflects a period of evolution - moving between abstraction and representation, softness and boldness, delicacy and intensity. Many of the larger pieces stem from smaller, instinctive studies, where unexpected colour palettes and compositions first emerge before being expanded and reinterpreted at scale.

Pieces will be available to purchase in person on the opening night, with remaining works released to mailing list at 7pm BST on 27.05.26.
